Ignition Dance Festival Call Out

Ignition Dance Festival is back! Now in it’s second year and taking place at the Rose Theatre. The festival is produced by the Royal borough of Kingston and Dance West, a new dance development organisation based at the Lyric, Hammersmith.

Ignition is looking for London based Community Dance groups to perform at a celebration event on Sunday 7 June. Each group will be given access to a professionally produced event, a technical rehearsal and the opportunity to invite their friends and family for a ticket performance.

Ignition is seeking dance groups, dance enthusiasts, youth dance companies, schools and colleges to come and perform at the Rose Theatre.

Ignition Choreographers platform

Ignition is looking for five choreographers to apply with a new idea. Ignition will provide a professionally produced platform as well as a bursary, some rehearsal space at Kingston University and much more.

Take Part in our Creative Industry Survey

Kingston Council and Kingston University are currently conducting a survey into the Creative Industries located in the borough. The research is part of a longer term strategy to enable the borough to retain talent and to ensure we have the right infrastructures in place to support Kingston’s development as a creative Hub. Application deadline extended for IYAF 2015!
