Creative Youth welcomes new CEO, Louise Coles

Creative Youth is delighted to announce Louise Coles as the new CEO for the charity. Louise has great experience in the arts with a particular passion for encouraging and supporting young and emerging talent. “It is particularly pleasing to welcome Louise back to Kingston” said Creative Youth Chair Robin Hutchinson. “Louise was the first employee at the Rose Theatre and did much to ensure its growth and success. Since then her experience both in this country, in Europe and in Australia leaves her perfectly qualified to lead the charity and the International Youth Arts Festival.

Louise Coles said, “I am excited to have been given the opportunity to lead Creative Youth and the International Youth Arts Festival as CEO into its next period of growth. Over the last 9 years it has become a formidable force in supporting and showcasing the next generation of talented artists at a local, national and international level. As we enter our 10th year a key aim will be to continue to enhance and build upon the charity’s provision for young people and extend its profile and reach. I look forward to marking this milestone with a fantastic Festival during July 2018 which will look to the future and the next 10 years.”
