Young Creatives Opportunity

Are you aged 18-26 and wanting to make your mark in the creative industries? Do you consider yourself a cultural innovator or an inspiring leader? Is your head bursting with artistic ideas? Do you want to make a difference? If so read on…

Creative Youth is seeking pioneering, aspiring and motivational YOUNG CREATIVES to be part of a new young people’s panel. You will assist in driving forward a new artistic vision and artistic planning for the organisation along with spearheading the development of new artistic projects.

Creative Youth, which manages Kingston’s International Youth Arts Festival, celebrates its 10th Anniversary in July 2018. It is an exciting time for the Charity to mark this occasion and ensure it is more responsive to the needs of young emerging talent in the cultural sector than ever before. We need your help!

YOUNG CREATIVES will be facilitated and supported by professionals in the sector and there are substantial learning opportunities to be involved in other aspects of Creative Youth’s work.

Sound of the Times ’18 LIVE

Thank you to the fantastic musicians who performed at Sound of the Times ’18 LIVE at the Rose Theatre on Friday 2 February. They covered all genres and put on an amazing show, celebrating the best new sounds of South West London.  These are acts who impressed judges from a competition celebrating young fresh talent in the music industry. There will be a Sound of the Times album available to download soon.

This event was made possible by a partnership between Time & Leisure, the Academy of Contemporary Music and Creative Youth.

Thank you to all who attended the IYAF Teaser Announcement

Thank you to everyone who attended the IYAF Teaser Announcement at the Rose Theatre Cafe on Friday 2 February. It was good to see so many familiar faces, in addition to an exciting number of new supporters as we prepare for the 10th International Youth Arts Festival from 6 -15 July.

Molly Freeman, the new Programme Manager, announced some of our plans for this summer, and the winner of the New Designer competition – Belle Junput – who will be designing the artwork for the IYAF Programme. We would like to congratulate Belle for her creative designs and interpretation of the IYAF creative brief.

We aim to bring you an exciting and varied programme in the 2018 Festival which will celebrate young people’s talent and diversity at a local, national and international level.
