3. Kingston History Centre

Located in the heart of the borough at Guildhall, Kingston History Centre is where you can access unique historical resources which tell over 800 years of the history of the borough, through books, maps, photographs, newspapers and archival collections.

On display here in early 2024 was an original scrapbook on loan from the Kingston University Archives, with clippings illustrating the thriving live music culture engendered by the Student Union of the former Kingston Polytechnic in the 1970s and 1990s.

The History Centre is open Thursday-Saturday, 10am -5pm
