Terry Pastor – Artwork illustrator for David Bowie’s ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’. Interviewed at his home, 4/10/22.
Will Booker – Professor of Cultural Studies at Kingston University who lived as David Bowie for a year. Interviewed at Kingston University, 5/10/2022.
Tim Harrison – Longstanding local journalist, editor of The Good Life newspaper, and author of ‘Hello Tolworth, I’m Ziggy’. Interviewed at his home, 21/10/22.
Pete McSweeney & Pete O’Sullivan – Friends and local Kingston residents with memories of the area’s gig scene from the 1960s onwards, including David Bowie’s launch of Ziggy Stardust at the Toby Jug. Interviewed at the Creative Youth office, 14/11/22.

Peter & Derek Tagg – Brothers and local musicians who play together in The Trudy; Peter was formerly a founding member of Cardiac Arrest (later Cardiacs). Interviewed at the researcher’s home, 11/05/23.
Keith McMahon – Lighting technician for gigs at Kingston Polytechnic in the late 1970s/early 1980s, including U2 in 1980. Interviewed at the Creative Youth office, 16/05/23.
Angela Hilton – Local resident with memories of functions at Surbiton Assembly Rooms, from parties hosted by her father’s local football team to taking the stage as part of her local dance school. Interviewed at her home, 07/11/22.
Donna Frankcom-Ball – Passionate local music enthusiast and founder/admin of the ‘1980’s Kingston crowd’ Facebook group, with memories of local bands Cardiacs, Granny’s New Intentionz, Here and Now, The Trudy, Private Patience, Liquid Hedgehog, and Greasy Hogwash. Interviewed at her home, 24/07/23.
Pat Pritchard – Local resident and onetime regular at Kingston Poly folk nights and Main Hall gigs; in attendance for David Bowie’s Kingston Poly set in May 1972. Interviewed at her home, 24/7/23.
Fran Lloyd – Professor of Art History at Kingston University, founder of the Kingston School of Art archive, and co-author of ‘Kingston School of Art: 140 Years’. Interviewed at Kingston School of Art, 31/07/23.
Keith Read – Musician with rock n roll band The Impalas who had a residency at The Swan pub in the 1960s. Interviewed at his home, 2/10/23.

Julian Hickman – Tour manager and former Students’ Union Social Secretary at Kingston Polytechnic (1981-84), during which time he organised concerts such as The Smiths, New Order, Curtis Mayfield, Kurtis Blow, The Pogues and The Marine Girls. Interviewed at FUSEBOX, 24/10/23.
Stephen Budd – Music executive who can trace his love of music to a 1971 Spirit gig at Kingston Polytechnic and resident DJ slots at The Jolly Brewer. Interviewed at FUSEBOX, 25/10/23.
Adam and Liz Lewis – Landlords of The Lamb pub and music venue in Surbiton, organisers of biweekly music nights and the annual Lambstock music festival. Interviewed at The Lamb, 30/11/23.
