Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

About the show

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Tim Rice An amateur youth group production by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd.

Following last year’s massively encouraging reception for the new Thames Music Theatre company’s production of The Roman Invasion of Ramsbottom, it returns this year with Joseph under the same team - Director Jeremy James Taylor and Musical Director, John Pearson – whose many past musical comedy successes have included the smash hit production of Bugsy Malone in the West End.

This year they are joined by choreographer Kieran Walsh and a cast of 70 performers and production team aged betweeen10-18 , all drawn from the South West London area.

This is a new look at Joseph the likes of which has not been seen before! Jeremy - who was member of the original professional cast of Joseph – has set this production in the mid–west America of the fifties when Elvis was King, Babe Ruth ruled the world of base-ball and James Dean dominated the silver screen.

An all-dancing, all-singing laugh-a-minute fun show not to be missed so with two performances only join the rush to get tickets!

Come along! Sing along! Laugh along! Joseph is guaranteed fun for young and old.

About the company

Thames Music Theatre exists to promote opportunities for young amateur people between the ages of 10 to 18, living in the south-west London and north Surrey areas, to rehearse and perform pieces of music theatre to the highest possible artistic standards, consistent with their talent.
