Singer-composer Guilherme Cosme presents Persephone and the Ghost Brother, a dark and immersive visual music experience which explores themes of mental health, sexuality and religious brainwashing.
His homonymous album, released in 2022, is a meditative collection of tunes which finds the singer diving deep into his own battle with mental illness. He wrote these songs as catharsis while struggling with depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder.
With this show, Cosme hopes to reach out to those who struggle with similar issues and to raise awareness of the pain and suffering many face in silence.
Guilherme Cosme is an Ireland based Brazilian singer-composer and founder member of the post-punk band Mary Bleeds.
