Established in 2009 by Creative Youth, FUSE International hosts over 80 events across venues and spaces around Kingston upon Thames every July. We provide a supportive environment for artists at every stage of their creative journey, from experienced performers to those putting on their first show.
FUSE International (formerly International Youth Arts Festival) takes place every year in summer in the stunning historical location of Kingston upon Thames, in London.
Applications open every Autumn and close in January. We have a wide range of spaces available during the festival, from small cabaret spaces to large scale auditoriums so whatever scale you feel ready to work to, we’re happy to help.
We use Eventotron – an online festival platform – for our application process. You’ll need to register an account if it is your first time using Eventotron.

Questions?
If you have any questions about applying to be part of FUSE International 2025, contact our Festival Director, Petra on FUSEdirector@creativeyouthcharity.org.
Dance Showcase
Every year Creative Youth (the charity behind FUSE International) produces a Dance Showcase that include shorter extracts of dance work (ideally between 10-20mins). We have been delivering this event for several years and had lots of positive feedback from companies and audiences about the fantastic variety of work on display. If your performance is not long enough to fill a whole individual performance event, and you would like your short dance piece to be included in the Dance Showcase, please apply here.
Musicians with shorter sets
Creative Youth produces a number of music events throughout the festival at venues across Kingston. If you are an individual musician or a band with a short set (under 45 minutes), please apply here.
If you have any questions about applying to be part of FUSE International 2025, contact our Festival Director, Petra, on artisticdirector@creativeyouthcharity.org
What does it mean to create something magical?
Magyk invites artists to explore the theme of magic within the realm of visual art. Magic can represent many things: a fantasy or illusion, the extraordinary or the impossible. We invite you to reflect on what magic means to you and how it comes alive in your creative practice.
We are seeking works that capture the essence of magic in all its forms. Who does magic belong to? Where is it found? How does it shape your process? Whether your piece conjures fantastical worlds, otherworldly forms, a sense of wonder, or moments of transformation—we want to see where you find the magic in your artwork.
Applications are open for Solo Artists (aged 16 – 30) to exhibit one artwork for the ‘Magyk’ Open Call Exhibition in FUSEBOX as part of FUSE International. The registration fee for each artwork is £30, if your application is successful.
We are also seeking applications from groups/ collectives/ organisations to curate their own exhibition – under the theme of ‘Magyk’ – which will take over all three floors of the Rose Theatre foyers. The registration fee for this group exhibition is £300, if your application is successful.
