72 Hour FilmBox Challenge

Ghosts, Visions & Manifestations

FilmBox has a challenge for you! Gather your crew or fly solo to race against the clock and create a body of work within just 72 hours!

This is your opportunity to dive into fast paced creativity, test your skills and push your imagination to its limits. Whether you’re a filmmaker, cinematographer, scriptwriter, editor, or artist, this challenge welcomes all film disciplines, mediums and themes. Create an original project that brings a story to life – be it in the form of a screenplay, poster, film still, storyboard, or a short film.

Theme: Ghosts, Visions & Manifestations

Your project could delve into ghosts of Kingston’s history – forgotten figures, ancient rituals, or eerie folklore that still echo through its streets and landmarks. Or perhaps you’re drawn to visions of the town today – capturing its culture, contradictions, and the people shaping its evolving identity. Alternatively, look ahead to the manifestations of what Kingston might become – a speculative, poetic or provocative imagining of the town’s future….
