Have you got an eye for detail? Love designing and sewing? If you’ve ever wondered how to get into the costume industry, then this talk is for you. We are joined by Natasha & Kathryn to open up the conversation about all things costume.

Natasha is a Graduate of Costume for Theatre and Screen from Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL. She is a maker and interpreter with a passion for historical costume and pattern cutting, and hopes to develop a career in these areas. She is a finalist in this year’s Patterns of Fashion Award Competition by The Costume Society. Her professional credits as an Interpreter include A ROYAL WEDDING collaboration with Zoom Through History Events and her professional credits as a Costume Designer include the feature film ROMEO & JULIET starring Derek Jacobi.

Kathryn is a freelance costume assistant working predominantly in theatre, her recent credits including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Don Quixote and The Lost Estate Co.’s immersive production The Great Murder Mystery. A recent graduate of The Northern School of Art, she works freelance in the industry, based in Yorkshire.
