Accessibility

At Creative Youth, we believe creativity is for everyone. We recognise disability through the Social Model and are committed to removing barriers so that all young people, artists, audiences and collaborators can participate fully in our spaces, programmes and events.

Our mission is to make every interaction with Creative Youth – whether online, at FUSEBOX or at community locations – welcoming, inclusive and accessible to all.

The roles listed are Co‑Director, Marketing Director, Artistic Director, and Technical Director. The backgrounds of the photos vary, including indoor settings and an outdoor backdrop.

Digital accessibility

At Creative Youth, we want everyone to enjoy our website, just like they enjoy our spaces and programmes. We are aiming towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and are always looking for ways to improve. Our ongoing improvements include:

  • Higher contrast and scalable text
  • Alt‑text for images
  • Accessible PDFs and downloadable materials
  • Captioned and subtitled video content

A few things to note

  • Some PDFs or images may not fully support screen readers.

  • A small number of interactive features might be tricky to navigate using only a keyboard.

Need help or want an alternative format?

If anything on the site isn’t working for you, drop us a line at access@creativeyouthcharity.org. We can provide information in another format, answer questions, or guide you through our content.

Quick tips for browsing

  • You can zoom in up to 200% using your browser.

  • Adjust contrast or colour settings in your browser or device for easier reading.

  • Use screen readers or voice commands if that helps with navigation.

Accessibility is never “done”. We review our spaces and processes annually and update our offer based on feedback.
