Pride in Kingston is launching its very first celebration in collaboration with FUSE International, bringing a vibrant, community-led programme to the borough from 26–28 June.
For the first time in Kingston’s history, Unapologetic is bringing Pride to the borough, transforming the streets we’ve grown up in into a vibrant celebration of love, identity, and community. As local residents who have grown up here, this event is deeply personal to us. We are passionate about creating a space where the local LGBTQIA+ community can be seen, celebrated, and empowered unapologetically. By lighting up the streets with pride, joy, and visibility, we hope to make history together, inspiring connection, inclusion, and a lasting sense of belonging for everyone across the borough.
Friday 26 June
Kicking things off on Friday 26 June is Afterdark, our official launch party, an 18+ ticketed event welcoming everyone to come together and celebrate. Book tickets for Afterdark.
Saturday 27 June
Saturday 27 June marks Pride Day, with pop-up performances taking over the Bentall Centre throughout the day, expect dancers, singers, and performers bringing Pride energy to the heart of Kingston.
The celebrations continue with our Pride Parade from 2–3pm, as we take to the streets and invite everyone to walk with us in Pride.
Sunday 28 June
Sunday 28 June focuses on community, with a dedicated workshop day bringing people together through creativity, conversation, and self-expression, while additional sessions will also take place in the lead-up to the weekend, inviting the community to get involved from the very start.
