Through a collaborative short film and an evocative soundscape album, Oscar works with friends, activists, and fellow poets to explore liberation in its many forms.
Oscar Rodriguez (he/they) invites audiences to rediscover failure as a catalyst for profound hope. Rooted in his Salvadoran heritage and inspired by the legacy of its revolutionaries, Oscar brings together a chorus of voices to honour the struggles and triumphs of oppressed, Queer, and working-class communities through highlighting the Salvadoran Civil War.
Through a collaborative short film and an evocative soundscape album, Oscar works with friends, activists, and fellow poets to explore liberation in its many forms. The project challenges conventional narratives, offering a space for healing, solidarity, and possibility.
The event extends beyond the screen and speakers with an immersive exhibition. Poetry, multi-medium artwork, and creative installations will be on display, creating a space for connection, reflection, and dialogue among like-minded creatives.
