We are thrilled to share that we were awarded winner of the Best Charity/Social Enterprise Award at the Kingston Borough Business Awards last week!
Announced during the presentation evening at the historic All Saints Kingston on Thursday 22nd February, the event welcomed over 200 guests – including finalists, sponsors and business leaders – from around the borough to recognise and honour the accomplishments of our local business community.
Co-Directors, Daniel and Archie, accepted the award at last week’s ceremony, they said:
“In accepting the Best Charity/Social Enterprise of the Year award at the Kingston Borough Business Awards, we want to thank the entire Creative Youth community. This accolade is not just a recognition of our organisation but a celebration of the boundless potential within the young minds we work with.
Our journey has been one fueled by passion, dedication, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of the arts. Across all artistic forms, we’ve witnessed young individuals discovering their voices, unlocking their creativity, and expressing themselves in ways that transcend boundaries. This award is a symbol of their achievements, aspirations, and the collective impact of art on their lives. We are immensely proud to be a part of their journey, providing a platform where dreams are cultivated and possibilities are realised.
Equally, we extend our gratitude to our remarkable team of staff, volunteers, board of trustees and all those who have supported us along the way. Their tireless efforts, dedication, and belief in our mission has been the driving force behind our success. Thank you to the amazing team at the Kingston Chamber of Commerce for their ongoing support of our work and also the Rotary Club of Kingston for sponsoring this award.
We are committed to the continued pursuit of empowering young people through the arts. This award renews our dedication to fostering a community where every young person is encouraged to explore, create, and contribute to a world enriched by the arts”.
